Nei quattro Veda - Rig, Sama, Yajur e Atharva - troviamo ampi riferimenti a medicine, rimedi, metodi curativi e descrizioni delle diverse parti e degli organi del corpo umano.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;I testi classici dell'Ayurveda che sono giunti fino a noi, Charaka Samhita e Sushruta Samhita, sono stati redatti nella forma attuale probabilmente intorno al settimo secolo a.C.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;In questi testi troviamo i miti delle origini dell'Ayurveda e di come venne tramandato al genere umano. Nel Charaka Samhita si dice che quando sulla terra comparvero le malattie a ostacolare la vita degli esseri viventi, un gruppo di saggi, i Rishi provenienti da ogni angolo della terra, mossi da compassione per tutte le creature, si riunirono in un luogo propizio sulle pendici dell'Himalaya per trovare un rimedio.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Con questo atteggiamento, entrarono in meditazione e trovarono l'aiuto di Indra, il Signore degli Dei, che li avrebbe istruiti sul modo appropriato per contrastare le malattie. Deputarono così uno di loro, Bharadvaja, ad andare da Indra per imparare l'Ayurveda. Al suo ritorno Bharadvaja impartì la conoscenza dell'Ayurveda ad Atreya che ebbe sei discepoli, ognuno dei sei discepoli di Atreya scrisse un trattato di Ayurveda.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;La maggior parte di quei trattati è andata perduta, ma l'opera di uno di essi, Agnivesa, o per lo meno una parte di essa, è giunta fino a noi nella forma del Charaka Samhita.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Un altro racconto mitologico rivela che Dhanvantari, il medico degli Dei, venne mandato da Indra sulla terra per diffondere la conoscenza della medicina. Dei suoi discepoli Sushruta era particolarmente esperto nell'arte della chirurgia e scrisse un trattato sull'Ayurveda noto come Sushruta Samhita. Questo trattato riguarda soprattutto la chirurgia anche se parallelamente si occupa della medicina generale.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;In epoca posteriore Vagbhata scrisse l'Ashtanga Hridaya che descrive l'Ayurveda in forma poetica e che riunisce la sapienza di Charaka nella medicina e l'arte di Sushruta nella chirurgia.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;"Poiché nei tempi antichi l'Ayurveda è stato concepito e insegnato da alcuni saggi, certi studiosi sostengono che l'Ayurveda ha un inizio. In effetti non è così, non si conosce un periodo in cui l'Ayurveda non fosse esistente e dopo il quale venne alla luce. Come il calore del fuoco e la liquidità dell'acqua, l'Ayurveda o scienza della vita è cosa innata e per esistere non ha bisogno di alcuno sforzo da parte degli umani". (Charaka Samhita 30.27)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Per concludere, l'Ayurveda non è patrimonio esclusivo di una sola cultura o di un solo paese, non è prerogativa di una sola religione, non appartiene a un solo periodo storico. Poiché tratta di fenomeni inerenti alla natura ha un valore universale e un atteggiamento molto aperto nei confronti degli influssi che provengono da differenti culture; le medicine e le diete possono variare, ma i principi che ne sono alla base sono sempre gli stessi. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Pitta (fuoco+acqua);&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt; Kapha (terra+acqua).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Vata (etere-aria) la cui funzione principale è il movimento, è responsabile di tutti i processi fisiologici essenziali: la respirazione, il battito del cuore, il transito del cibo e l’eliminazione delle sostanze di rifiuto. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Pitta (fuoco-acqua) ha come funzione principale il metabolismo, governa la digestione ed il metabolismo, la temperatura corporea, la percezione, la vista, la fame, la sete, la carnagione, l’intelligenza ed il coraggio. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Kapha (terra-acqua) la cui funzione principale è il metabolismo, dà stabilità, lubrificazione, forza e qualità come la pazienza, la calma e la devozione.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;In ogni essere e così anche per l'uomo sono presenti tutti e tre questi Dosha in percentuali differenti questo spiega perché non siamo tutti uguali, infatti ognuno di noi ha una personale costituzione.La salute ottimale di una persona, secondo l’Ayurveda dipende dall' equilibrio soggettivo di questi tre umori biologici.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quando lo spermatozoo e l'ovocito si incontrano nell'utero dando luogo a uno zigote, la costituzione fisica (prakriti) dell'individuo che nascerà viene decisa dai Dosha che prevalgono in quel momento. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;I principali fattori responsabili della costituzione di un individuo sono quattro:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;1. il fattore paterno&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;2. il fattore materno&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;3. le condizioni dell'utero e la stagione&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;4. gli alimenti assunti dalla madre durante la gravidanza. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;La costituzione accompagna l'individuo per tutta la vita e non si modifica mai.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Esistono sette tipi di costituzione:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;1. Vata&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;2. Pitta&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;3. Kapha&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;4. Vata-Pitta&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;5. Pitta-Kapha&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;6. Vata-Kapha&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;7. Il loro torace non è ben formato, le loro vene e i loro tendini muscolari sono ben visibili. Le persone Vata in genere sono molto alte o molto basse, con strutture sottili che rivelano giunture ed ossa sporgenti a causa dello scarso sviluppo muscolare.I capelli sono ricciuti e radi, le ciglia poco folte e gli occhi poco luminosi. Le unghie sono ruvide e fragili. Fisiologicamente, l’appetito e la digestione sono variabili. Amano gusti dolci, aspri, salati e bevande calde. La produzione di urina è scarsa e le feci sono secche dure e scarse. Queste persone sono creative, attive , vigili e irrequiete. Il loro torace è ben formato e mostrano una predominanza media di vene e tendini. Le ossa non sono sporgenti e lo sviluppo muscolare è moderato.Le persone Pitta hanno molte lentiggini o nei , la loro carnagione è ramata, giallognola, rossastra o chiara. La pelle è soffice e calda. I capelli sono sottili, segosi, rossi o bruni e c’è una tendenza a un prematuro grigiore e alla loro perdita. Fisiologicamente queste persone hanno un forte metabolismo, una buona digestione e conseguenti robusti appetiti. C’è comunque tendenza per questi individui ad avere peso eccessivo.&lt;/span&gt; Il loro torace è ampio e sviluppato. I tendini e le vene dei kapha non sono in evidenza a causa del fatto che il loro sviluppo muscolare è buono. Le ossa non sono sporgenti. La loro carnagione è chiara e brillante, la pelle soffice, splendente , oleosa, fredda e pallida. I capelli sono fitti, scuri soffici e ondulati. Fisiologicamente le persone kapha hanno appetiti regolari, la digestione funziona in modo relativamente lento. Hanno la tendenza a&lt;/span&gt; muoversi lentamente. Bramano cibi piccanti, amari e astringenti. Hanno una forte energia vitale evidenziata da una buona resistenza fisica esse sono generalmente sane, felici e pacifiche. La qualità chiave è apatia. Nei quattro Veda - Rig, Sama, Yajur e Atharva - troviamo ampi riferimenti a medicine, rimedi, metodi curativi e descrizioni delle diverse parti e degli organi del corpo umano.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;I testi classici dell'Ayurveda che sono giunti fino a noi, Charaka Samhita e Sushruta Samhita, sono stati redatti nella forma attuale probabilmente intorno al settimo secolo a.C. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;In questi testi troviamo i miti delle origini dell'Ayurveda e di come venne tramandato al genere umano. Nel Charaka Samhita si dice che quando sulla terra comparvero le malattie a ostacolare la vita degli esseri viventi, un gruppo di saggi, i Rishi provenienti da ogni angolo della terra, mossi da compassione per tutte le creature, si riunirono in un luogo propizio sulle pendici dell'Himalaya per trovare un rimedio. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Con questo atteggiamento, entrarono in meditazione e trovarono l'aiuto di Indra, il Signore degli Dei, che li avrebbe istruiti sul modo appropriato per contrastare le malattie. Al suo ritorno Bharadvaja impartì la conoscenza dell'Ayurveda ad Atreya che ebbe sei discepoli, ognuno dei sei discepoli di Atreya scrisse un trattato di Ayurveda. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;La maggior parte di quei trattati è andata perduta, ma l'opera di uno di essi, Agnivesa, o per lo meno una parte di essa, è giunta fino a noi nella forma del Charaka Samhita. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Un altro racconto mitologico rivela che Dhanvantari, il medico degli Dei, venne mandato da Indra sulla terra per diffondere la conoscenza della medicina. Dei suoi discepoli Sushruta era particolarmente esperto nell'arte della chirurgia e scrisse un trattato sull'Ayurveda noto come Sushruta Samhita. Questo trattato riguarda soprattutto la chirurgia anche se parallelamente si occupa della medicina generale. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;In epoca posteriore Vagbhata scrisse l'Ashtanga Hridaya che descrive l'Ayurveda in forma poetica e che riunisce la sapienza di Charaka nella medicina e l'arte di Sushruta nella chirurgia.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;"Poiché nei tempi antichi l'Ayurveda è stato concepito e insegnato da alcuni saggi, certi studiosi sostengono che l'Ayurveda ha un inizio. In effetti non è così, non si conosce un periodo in cui l'Ayurveda non fosse esistente e dopo il quale venne alla luce. Come il calore del fuoco e la liquidità dell'acqua, l'Ayurveda o scienza della vita è cosa innata e per esistere non ha bisogno di alcuno sforzo da parte degli umani". (Charaka Samhita 30.27)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Per concludere, l'Ayurveda non è patrimonio esclusivo di una sola cultura o di un solo paese, non è prerogativa di una sola religione, non appartiene a un solo periodo storico. Poiché tratta di fenomeni inerenti alla natura ha un valore universale e un atteggiamento molto aperto nei confronti degli influssi che provengono da differenti culture; le medicine e le diete possono variare, ma i principi che ne sono alla base sono sempre gli stessi. Perciò si può considerare l'Ayurveda un "Patrimonio dell'Umanità".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Fondamenti&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Secondo l’Ayurveda, l’universo e l’essere umano sono parti integranti costituiti da 5 elementi fondamentali: Etere, Aria, Acqua, Fuoco e Terra. Questi elementi combinandosi danno origine a tre umori biologici : Vata (etere+aria); Pitta (fuoco+acqua); Kapha (terra+acqua). &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;Vata (etere-aria) la cui funzione principale è il movimento, è responsabile di tutti i processi fisiologici essenziali: la respirazione, il battito del cuore, il transito del cibo e l’eliminazione delle sostanze di rifiuto. Pitta (fuoco-acqua) ha come funzione principale il metabolismo, governa la digestione ed il metabolismo, la temperatura corporea, la percezione, la vista, la fame, la sete, la carnagione, l’intelligenza ed il coraggio. Kapha (terra-acqua) la cui funzione principale è il metabolismo, dà stabilità, lubrificazione, forza e qualità come la pazienza, la calma e la devozione. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;In ogni essere e così anche per l'uomo sono presenti tutti e tre questi Dosha in percentuali differenti questo spiega perché non siamo tutti uguali, infatti ognuno di noi ha una personale costituzione.La salute ottimale di una persona, secondo l’Ayurveda dipende dall' equilibrio soggettivo di questi tre umori biologici.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La costituzione individuale (Prakriti)&lt;br /&gt;Quando lo spermatozoo e l'ovocito si incontrano nell'utero dando luogo a uno zigote, la costituzione fisica (prakriti) dell'individuo che nascerà viene decisa dai Dosha che prevalgono in quel momento. I principali fattori responsabili della Prakriti di un individuo sono quattro:1. il fattore paterno2. il fattore materno3. le condizioni dell'utero e la stagione4. gli alimenti assunti dalla madre durante la gravidanza. La costituzione accompagna l'individuo per tutta la vita e non si modifica mai.&lt;br /&gt;Esistono sette tipi di costituzione o Prakriti:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;1. Vata&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;2. Pitta&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;3. Kapha&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;4. Vata-Pitta&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;5. Pitta-Kapha&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;6. Vata-Kapha&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;"&gt;7. Il loro torace non è ben formato, le loro vene e i loro tendini muscolari sono ben visibili. Le persone Vata in genere sono molto alte o molto basse, con strutture sottili che rivelano giunture ed ossa sporgenti a causa dello scarso sviluppo muscolare.I capelli sono ricciuti e radi, le ciglia poco folte e gli occhi poco luminosi. Le unghie sono ruvide e fragili. Fisiologicamente, l’appetito e la digestione sono variabili. Amano gusti dolci, aspri, salati e bevande calde. La produzione di urina è scarsa e le feci sono secche dure e scarse. Queste persone sono creative, attive , vigili e irrequiete. Il loro torace è ben formato e mostrano una predominanza media di vene e tendini. Le ossa non sono sporgenti e lo sviluppo muscolare è moderato.Le persone Pitta hanno molte lentiggini o nei , la loro carnagione è ramata, giallognola, rossastra o chiara. La pelle è soffice e calda. I capelli sono sottili, segosi, rossi o bruni e c’è una tendenza a un prematuro grigiore e alla loro perdita. Fisiologicamente queste persone hanno un forte metabolismo, una buona digestione e conseguenti robusti appetiti. C’è comunque tendenza per questi individui ad avere peso eccessivo.&lt;/span&gt; Il loro torace è ampio e sviluppato. I tendini e le vene dei kapha non sono in evidenza a causa del fatto che il loro sviluppo muscolare è buono. Le ossa non sono sporgenti. La loro carnagione è chiara e brillante, la pelle soffice, splendente , oleosa, fredda e pallida. I capelli sono fitti, scuri soffici e ondulati. Fisiologicamente le persone kapha hanno appetiti regolari, la digestione funziona in modo relativamente lento. Hanno la tendenza a&lt;/span&gt; muoversi lentamente. Bramano cibi piccanti, amari e astringenti. Hanno una forte energia vitale evidenziata da una buona resistenza fisica esse sono generalmente sane, felici e pacifiche. La qualità chiave è apatia.
